MK Community Foundation has awarded Worktree a grant of £3,174 to deliver Primary WorkOut sessions for 1,600 pupils in primary schools across Milton Keynes in 2018. This is an opportunity for 60 volunteer work guests to visit their old primary school, or one they don’t know, and answer questions from today’s 9-11 year olds about their experiences of work.
“What I enjoyed most was the childrens’ questions,” said Paul Romans of SNO!Zone after a previous session. “It made me remember why I love my job.”
Bookings for Primary WorkOut sessions will be available to volunteers later this month and posted at www.worktree.org/events, so watch this space!
