Career WorkOut 50 All Set For September Start
With the support of sponsoring MK employers, and grants from the Natwest Skills and Opportunities Fund and MK Community Foundation, Worktree will begin rolling out its Career WorkOut programme in three MK schools from September.
“It’s fantastic that we are at last in a position to offer Career WorkOut events to every student in every year group in three schools,” said Worktree’s Tom Bulman. “Now we just need to recruit a few more work guests to answer questions about their jobs. We only need double the number we already have, so about 350 more. Easy huh.”
Abigail Burdiak of Shoosmiths Wills Wealth and Probate team, who attended two Career WorkOut sessions in July, said: “WorkOut is a very worthwhile, rewarding experience. The students ask some very thought-provoking questions which are a stark reminder of what it was like to be at School with such passionate ideas about the future. I wish that I had been offered a similar opportunity when I was at School.”

MK employers who have already committed to sponsoring Career WorkOut are: NHBC, Dentons, DCS Solutions and Murrays the Printer.
