MK College students thrive in Dentons’ Den

by | Oct 3, 2019 | News

11 students of Business Studies at MK College attended the annual Dentons’ Den training at Dentons LLP UKMEA on Midsummer Boulevard in Central Milton Keynes.  They undertook a full-day of high-level employability training delivered by Worktree – including a carousel of 1-2-1 conversations with a range of Dentons staff – then took up the challenge of applying for one of two work placements offered by Dentons.

In post-event feedback, 9 out of 10 students strongly agreed that the training “helped me see what skills I need to succeed in the workplace”.

One student wrote:  “I enjoyed how fun the sessions were.  They were very engaging and got everybody involved.  It opened your confidence more and helped you talk abnd think about things.  It helped you understnad the working environment.  I really liked talking to the guests and talking about their job roles.  They related well to us.”
