The OU celebrates award for supporting Career WorkOut
The OU received an award from Worktree in recognition of the increased level of volunteering by OU staff in Career WorkOut sessions over the past year. Larry Kavanagh from LTI collected the award on behalf of the OU and passed it on to Acting Vice Chancellor Mary Kellett. “Mary was delighted to hear about the good work we have done in the past year and is ready to sign-up as a volunteer herself.” commented Larry.
Visiting the OU earlier this week to meet with volunteers Tom Bulman from Worktree observed “The growing commitment to this work from the OU is encouraging – there is strong synergy between the OU’s mission and what we want to achieve through Worktree.” He went on to say “Volunteering with Worktree is something anyone can do, it needs no preparation, it takes just an hour and is tremendously rewarding”.
